The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, from their district office in Fresno, California, also monitors the facility’s emission levels in “real time.”  In addition to the control room oversight, where at least one operator is on duty at all times, the CEMS automated functions immediately notifies the Operations Personnel of any abnormal conditions. It is constantly polling emissions data and even has a forward-looking feature so adjustments to the system can be made before the emission limit is reached.

The Facility, as demonstrated by the results of the annual air emissions testing, continues to operate well within the environmental protections established by the Clean Air Act, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the California Environmental Protection Agency, and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District.
