SRRF’s Title V Permit, a Federally Mandated Operating Permit issued by the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District on behalf of the U.S. EPA, is one of the strictest permits throughout the country.  In addition to routine daily continuous emissions monitoring via the CEMS, the facility undergoes extensive independent safety and air testing annually, as part of compliance with the Title V Permit.  Some elements of this testing are performed under the supervision of the San Joaquin Air Pollution Control District’s staff.  The CEMS is also tested for accuracy and re-calibrated if necessary.  The entire process is much like the California SMOG testing of vehicles, but on a much larger scale, duration and range.  The air results demonstrate that the Facility has exceeded expectations on permit emission limits.  Please view summaries of recent stack tests….
